Greg Hughes was named Serena’s chief executive officer in January 2013. Prior to that, Hughes joined Serena’s board of directors in February 2012 while serving as an operating partner at Silver Lake Partners, which he joined in March 2011. Prior to Silver Lake, Hughes served in a variety of senior management roles at Symantec Corporation including Group President, Enterprise Products. Hughes joined Symantec through its acquisition of VERITAS Software, where he was Executive Vice President, Global Services. He joined VERITAS after a 10-year career at McKinsey & Company, where he founded and led the software practice. He currently serves on the board of LogMeIn and holds an MBA from Stanford and a BS and MS in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT.
Carl Landers is responsible for Serena’s worldwide marketing functions, including product marketing, communications, lead generation, sales enablement and field marketing. Mr. Landers previously served as Serena’s Vice President of Product and Campaign Marketing and joined the company with over a decade of enterprise software marketing experience. Prior to joining Serena, Mr. Landers served as Vice President of Marketing at CA Technologies, where he led marketing strategy, product marketing, demand generation and public relations for CA’s Project and Portfolio Management solution. He joined CA via its 2005 acquisition of Niku Corporation, where he was Director of Product Marketing. Before joining Niku, Mr. Landers held product marketing, product management and product development positions at Perfect Commerce, Zoho Corporation, Tyco International and Raychem Corporation. Mr. Landers holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
Mr. Sianchuk is the executive responsible for the total relationship with Serena’s customers. He provides a single vision across all aspects of Customer Interaction, ensuring that Serena offers the highest level of Customer Service from every department and that Serena maintains an unsurpassed level of Customer consideration in decisions made. Mr. Sianchuk leads the Customer Support organisation, the Information Technology department, as well as the PMO within Serena. His involvement across both internally focused and externally focused departments ensures that Serena is constantly improving itself, always with the customer in mind. Delivering a consistent Customer Experience is essential in today’s business environment and Mr. Sianchuk’s experience both in Customer Service and Information Technology ensures that Serena delivers to the ever changing needs of our customers.
Ali Kheirolomoom leads all product development and product strategy at Serena. Prior to Serena, Mr. Kheirolomoom was co-founder, CTO and Vice President of Software Development for Apptero, the creator of an innovative business application planning, visualization and prototyping tool. Prior to Apptero, he was co-founder, CTO and VP of Development for Avinon, where he oversaw the development of Avinon's highly regarded NetScenario software for Web services application assembly. Before Avinon, he was Vice President of Product Management at Mosaix. There he defined the company's product strategy and was the driving force behind the development of their leading-edge process automation product, which subsequently became the foundation for the CRM initiative at Lucent Technologies (now Avaya, Inc.). Mr. Kheirolomoom was the recipient of ComputerWorld Premier 100 IT Leaders and Premier 20 Innovators awards. Mr. Kheirolomoom holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of California in Santa Cruz.
Kevin Parker is a 30 year industry veteran, holder of three technology patents and is VP and Chief Evangelist at Serena Software. He speaks and writes on application development methodologies, business analysis, quality assurance techniques, governance, open source issues, and tool interoperability, from the mainframe to distributed platforms to the web and mobile and embedded systems. Kevin was born and educated in the UK and currently lives on a boat on the San Francisco Bay.
Ben Cody is Vice President of Service Management Solutions at Serena Software. Ben has a broad background in information technology, with more than 18 years of experience in product development and product management. Prior to joining Serena, Ben was Senior Director of Product Management for BMC’s Service Management product family, including the Remedy product line.
Mr. Owen is the Director of Orchestrated ALM Strategy at Serena Software. Ash has worked at Serena Software for more than 20 years and is passionate about solving application delivery problems spanning demand, development, and deployment.
Frederic Richer is European Marketing Director at Serena Software, his main objective will be to define the communication, marketing strategy and lead generation at European level. In addition to this he will serve as the interface for US Corporate and he will perform these activities in addition to his duties in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and BeneLux. He has worked for nine years at Serena in the role of marketing director in Western Europe and two years ago he was promoted at European level. He has a strong background in information technology with close to 27 years of experience as a developer, project manager, pre-sales and marketing director. Prior to joining Serena Software, he served as Southern European Marketing Director at Cognos and Acta Technology. Before, he was a business analyst and project manager with ATOS, a large French consulting company. Frédéric Richer is an engineering graduate and member of New york road runners and his passion is running in big cities and participating in worldwide Marathon race!
