Serena Software Appoints Kevin Biggs Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Professional Services

SAN MATEO, Calif. – Feb. 21, 2013 – Serena Software, the leader in Orchestrated IT solutions, today announced the appointment of Kevin Biggs as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Professional Services. In this role, Biggs will be responsible for global sales and services operations.

Mr. Biggs has more than 30 years of success in the enterprise software industry. Prior to joining Serena, he was a senior executive at Active Network Inc., most recently serving as Executive Vice President, Global Technology Sales. In that role, he was responsible for all worldwide sales functions and directly led a team of 400 sales professionals who delivered great than $400 million in revenue, helping to grow the company by more than 20 percent annually.

Previous to Active Network Inc., Biggs held the role of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Blue Coat Systems, which experienced phenomenal growth and success during his tenure. Before that, he held several positions within IBM Corporation.

Serena orchestrates IT for enterprise organizations across the end-to-end application delivery lifecycle. IT organizations can coordinate disparate processes, multiple tools and globally distributed teams from initial business request, all the way to final production release.
