ALBANS, UK - Jun 13, 2012 - Serena Software, the leader in Orchestrated IT solutions, today announced at its UK Customer Day that it has expanded its suite of products for improving IT management across application delivery, deployment and service management. At the event, Serena showed updated versions of Serena Development Manager, Release Manager and its business intelligence tool for IT Serena Dashboard, as well as how these products can interact to deliver streamlined IT management based on supporting business processes.

As part of the new product announcements, Serena has added functionality to the following:

  • Serena Dashboard - this business intelligence product provides end-to-end insight into enterprise IT processes. It now includes integration with ChangeMan ZMF, allowing information on project status across all the IT platforms and business processes that a company may be running, from mainframes through to distributed systems and third party tools.
  • Serena Release Manager - this provides additional integration with Serena Service Manager, allowing companies to co-ordinate their IT and development teams around releases more efficiently and reduce time spent on delivering new updates out to the business.
  • Serena Development Manager – based on Serena Business Manager and Dimensions CM, Development Manager provides organisations with a platform for controlling the life-cycle of application delivery across all the teams, tools and processes involved.
