ANAHEIM, Calif. - Aug 6, 2012 – SHARE 2012 - Serena Software, the leader in Orchestrated IT solutions, today announced the immediate availability of a significant new release of Serena IT Dashboard, providing improved visibility into end-to-end IT process performance and new accessibility on mobile devices.

Unlike generic Business Intelligence (BI) tools that can take months to deploy or have complex license models, the new Serena IT Dashboard provides key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards that are specifically designed for application lifecycle management (ALM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. With this release, customers now have an enterprise dashboard tying together all Serena technologies, including performance metrics of both mainframe and distributed systems.

For global IT organizations, visibility into their IT processes — from both an application and operational perspective — has been challenging, mostly due to IT complexity. This complexity stems from enterprise use of multiple development tools, different processes, distributed teams and multiple platforms.
