Greg Hughes - President und Chief Executive Officer

Greg Hughes kam 2011 zu Silver Lake und hat die Position eines Direktors. Herr Hughes verfügt über mehr als 20 Jahre Erfahrung als leitender Manager und Consultant in der Technologie-Industrie. Vor seiner Rolle bei Silver Lake war er ein führendes Mitglied der Geschäftsführung bei der Symantec Corporation, in der jüngsten Vergangenheit als Gruppen-Vorsitzender für Unternehmensprodukte, wo er die Verantwortung für 4 Mrd. USD schweres Unternehmens-Softwaregeschäft trug und das Forschungs- und Entwicklungsteam leitete. Während seiner Zeit bei Symantec hatte Herr Hughes auch anderes Rollen inne, u.a. als Chief Strategy Officer, der die Unternehmensentwicklung, Portfoliostrategie und Neugeschäft anleitete. Zudem war er als Gruppenvorsitzender für den weltweiten Service verantwortlich und leitete dort die Geschäftsbereiche der Professional-, Support- und Managed Services. Zu Symantec kam Herr Hughes ursprünglich über die Akquisition von VERITAS Software, wo Executive Vice President, Global Services war. Zu VERITAS wechselte Herr Hughes nach einer 10-jährigen Karriere bei McKinsey & Company, wo er zuletzt als Partner arbeitete sowie den Software-Bereich gründete und leitete. Vor McKinsey war Herr Hughes der Gründer und Geschäftsführer von Granite Microsystems, einem industriellen Computer-Lieferanten. Derzeit ist Herr Hughes Aufsichtsratsmitglied bei LogMeIn, zuvor bei der Technology Group sowie dem Huawei-Symantec Joint-Venture. Herr Hughes hat einen M.B.A. der Stanford University Graduate School of Business sowie einen Bachelor und Master in Elektrotechnik und Informatik des Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

David Hurwitz - Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing

Mr. Hurwitz has a quarter century of experience in the enterprise software industry, the last decade of which as a marketing leader. Immediately prior to joining Serena, Mr. Hurwitz served as Vice President of Corporate Messaging and Solutions Marketing at CA, Inc. He joined CA upon its 2005 acquisition of Niku Corporation, where he was Chief Marketing Officer. Under his marketing leadership, Niku’s Clarity product became the leading enterprise-class PPM system in IT shops and product development organizations around the world. Prior to his marketing career, Mr. Hurwitz founded and ran Product Lifecycle Management pioneer ConsenSys Software Corporation. He began his enterprise software career by creating several MANMAN products as an engineer at legendary Silicon Valley company ASK Computer Systems.

Peter Sianchuk - Group Vice President, Customer Experience & IT

Mr. Sianchuk is the executive responsible for the total relationship with Serena’s customers. He provides a single vision across all aspects of Customer Interaction, ensuring that Serena offers the highest level of Customer Service from every department and that Serena maintains an unsurpassed level of Customer consideration in decisions made. Mr. Sianchuk leads the Customer Support organisation, the Information Technology department, as well as the PMO within Serena. His involvement across both internally focused and externally focused departments ensures that Serena is constantly improving itself, always with the customer in mind. Delivering a consistent Customer Experience is essential in today’s business environment and Mr. Sianchuk’s experience both in Customer Service and Information Technology ensures that Serena delivers to the ever changing needs of our customers.

Steve Brodie - Group Vice President, Application Lifecycle Management Business Unit

Mr. Brodie joined Serena in 2009 and leads the Application Lifecycle Management business unit. Mr. Brodie has over 25 years experience in the enterprise software and services industry. Prior to joining Serena, Mr. Brodie served as the President and the Chief Products & Marketing Officer at Skytap, a pioneer and leader in cloud computing. Before Skytap, Mr. Brodie was Sr. Director at Mercury Interactive, leading the Load Testing and Application Performance Management product groups for nearly four years through the acquisition by HP. Prior to Mercury, Mr Brodie was Sr. Director of Product Management at IBM Rational Software with responsibility for several product lines. Mr. Brodie spent the first ten years of his career in the IT consulting business at several leading firms including IBM and Andersen Consulting.

Ali Kheirolomoom - Group Vice President, SBM Product & IT Service Management Business Unit

With nearly 20 years experience in software design and enterprise application development, Ali Kheirolomoom is responsible for Serena Business Manager (SBM) product line development and strategy. Previously, Kheirolomoom was co-founder, CTO and Vice President of Software Development for Apptero, the creator of an innovative business application planning, visualization and prototyping tool. Prior to Apptero, Ali was co-founder, CTO and VP of Development for Avinon, where he oversaw the development of Avinon's highly regarded NetScenario software for Web services application assembly. Before Avinon, he was Vice President of Product Management at Mosaix. There he defined the company's product strategy and was the driving force behind the development of their leading-edge process automation product, which subsequently became the foundation for the CRM initiative at Lucent Technologies (now Avaya, Inc.). Ali was the recipient of ComputerWorld Premier 100 IT Leaders and Premier 20 Innovators awards.

Kevin Parker - Vice President and Chief Evangelist

Kevin Parker is a 30 year industry veteran, holder of three technology patents and is VP and Chief Evangelist at Serena Software. He speaks and writes on application development methodologies, business analysis, quality assurance techniques, governance, open source issues, and tool interoperability, from the mainframe to distributed platforms to the web and mobile and embedded systems. Kevin was born and educated in the UK and currently lives on a boat on the San Francisco Bay.

Ben Cody - Vice President of Service Management Solutions

Ben Cody is Vice President of Service Management Solutions at Serena Software. Ben has a broad background in information technology, with more than 18 years of experience in product development and product management. Prior to joining Serena, Ben was Senior Director of Product Management for BMC’s Service Management product family, including the Remedy product line.

Mr. Owen is the Director of Orchestrated ALM Strategy at Serena Software. Ash has worked at Serena Software for more than 20 years and is passionate about solving application delivery problems spanning demand, development, and deployment.

Frederic Richer - Marketing Director for EMEA

Frederic Richer is European Marketing Director at Serena Software, his main objective will be to define the communication, marketing strategy and lead generation at European level. In addition to this he will serve as the interface for US Corporate and he will perform these activities in addition to his duties in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and BeneLux. He has worked for nine years at Serena in the role of marketing director in Western Europe and two years ago he was promoted at European level. He has a strong background in information technology with close to 27 years of experience as a developer, project manager, pre-sales and marketing director. Prior to joining Serena Software, he served as Southern European Marketing Director at Cognos and Acta Technology. Before, he was a business analyst and project manager with ATOS, a large French consulting company. Frédéric Richer is an engineering graduate and member of New york road runners and his passion is running in big cities and participating in worldwide Marathon race!
